Accounting Front and Center: STEM to STEAM?

The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is lending its support behind some bipartisan bills with a mission: to shine a spotlight on accounting in the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. So, what’s the news all about?

These bills, H.R. 3541 and S. 1705, are about allocating federal grant money  to introduce K-12 students to the financial world of accounting and the language of business.
